Finally, Idol gets rolling (Houston Chronicle)

Three weeks in, and American Idol is finally getting started. Judges and viewers have trudged through seven cities' worth of often-pointless auditions that produced a lot of weirdness (Alexis "Take it!" Cohen, Renaldo "Pimp-Angel" Lapuz), one Houston hopeful (Kady Malloy) and a few truly standout voices.
